Job Duties

Installation of residential and commercial overhead doors and operators.

Required Skills
Prior residential or commercial garage door installation/repair preferred but willing to train
Superior mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, winding of torsion springs with an upward motion of the arm, measuring, leveling, light carpentry and electrical work
Capable of lifting garage door sections weighing from 80 up to 200 pounds, 5 feet off the ground for a distance of up to 50 feet
Must carry sections, hardware, track and tools from vehicle to job site. Sections may be up to 20 feet long and 2 feet wide, and up to 200 lbs.
Ability to climb and work off of an 8'-15' high stepladder
Proficient with common power tools
Must be able to work in a challenging physical environment -- e.g., outdoors in wet and and cold; in high heat and humidity; and on mud and uneven ground 
Exceptional attitude and customer service skills that represent the company in best possible light
Ability to read and write legibly and accurately; Basic math skills
Excellent verbal communication skills and a clean neat appearance
Must be dependable and have good attendance record
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with a good driving history and ability to operate a standard truck
